Parallax Digital Studios is a fast paced and rapidly growing display graphics and signage provider to retail, corporate, educational and sports marketing companies. We are a regional provider of design, environmental graphics, architectural signage and installation services throughout the Southeast.
We are currently seeking an individual as a Paint Booth Technician for Dimensional Signage Production department. We need someone who is looking for a career in a growth industry with excellent job security.
Responsibilities Include:
– Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, prime, and mask sign substrates (metals, plastics, wood) to ensure proper paint adhesion.
– Paint Application: Utilize high-volume, low-pressure (HVLP) spray guns and airless
– Color Mixing & Tinting: Accurately mix paints to achieve exact brand colors and precise pantone. Training provided for software color formulas.
– Equipment Maintenance: Routinely clean spray guns, replace booth filters, service exhaust systems, and ensure optimal airflow.
– Quality Control: Inspect finished signs for runs, overspray, bubbles, or adhesion issues, and perform necessary touch-ups.
– Safety & Compliance: Manage hazardous waste disposal, wear required PPE (respirators), and adhere to environmental regulations
– Collaboration: Take part in pre-production planning for multi departmental projects
Requirements:
– Applicant must live in the vicinity of Kennesaw, GA within a thirty-minute driving distance
– Must have reliable transportation
– Drug Free work environment
