Position Summary:
Franklin Academy Charter School (Wake Forest) is seeking a motivated, passionate, and experienced Middle School Boys Soccer Coach to join our athletics program. The ideal candidate will bring energy, leadership, and a positive attitude to help student-athletes grow both on and off the field. This seasonal position runs now through October 9 and involves coaching students in grades 7–8, fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development.
We’re looking for someone who is encouraging, knowledgeable, and committed to student success. Prior coaching or playing experience is preferred.
As a part-time, non-contract position with Franklin Academy, this employment does not include any benefits package.
Primary duties/responsibilities include:
- Conduct tryouts for team
- Create plans for all practices and games
- Manage game decisions, playing time, feedback from players and parents
- Consistently communicate with Athletic Director, players, and parents
- Provide instruction and development skills to the student in relation to the assigned sport
- Contribute to the education program as a whole and to the growth of student-athletes involved so that they are successfully competitive.
Pay:
All Coaches will be paid with a stipend at the end of the season.
