As part of its expansion, D9 is launching a premium Performance & Longevity Centre designed to offer exceptional wellness, recovery, fitness, and member experiences in a world-class environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW: –

We are looking for a founding General Manager to lead the launch, operations, and growth of D9's Performance & Longevity Centre.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building businesses from the ground up, creating exceptional customer experiences, leading teams, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong hospitality instincts with commercial acumen and experience managing premium customer-facing environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: –

Pre-Opening & Launch

  • Support the setup and launch of the Performance & Longevity Centre .
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, consultants, and service partners.
  • Establish operating procedures, service standards, and guest experience protocols.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations.
  • Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Guest & Member Experience

  • Deliver exceptional guest and member experiences.
  • Manage bookings, scheduling, and service delivery.
  • Handle escalations and build strong member relationships.
  • Drive member satisfaction, retention, and engagement.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage operational teams.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and performance.
  • Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.

Business & Revenue Management

  • Drive membership growth, renewals, and retention.
  • Support sales initiatives, partnerships, and community engagement programs.
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, operational costs, and business performance.
  • Take ownership of the center's operational and financial success.

Vendor & Facility Management

  • Manage maintenance schedules and facility upkeep.
  • Coordinate external vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor inventory, consumables, and operational supplies.

Partnerships & Community Engagement

  • Develop relationships with corporates, fitness communities, healthcare partners, and local organizations.
  • Support initiatives that increase memberships, visibility, and revenue opportunities.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5–10 years of experience in hospitality, wellness, fitness, healthcare hospitality, lifestyle, or facility management.
  • Experience managing customer-facing teams and premium service environments.
  • Strong leadership, operational, and people management skills.
  • Experience in membership-driven businesses will be an advantage.
  • Pre-opening or launch experience is highly preferred.
