Position: First Aid Teaching Instructor – City
Take charge as a First Aid Teaching Instructor with the City of Surrey. Deliver critical First Aid training to foster community safety and awareness through engaging classes.
The City of Surrey’s Recreation Division seeks talented instructors to lead both First Aid and recertification courses. Successful candidates will exhibit strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to engaging learners. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is essential, as you will teach classes across multiple City facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct First Aid courses and recertification sessions
• Create engaging and supportive learning experiences
• Offer outstanding customer service at City facilities
• Teach both youth and adults in various locations
• Share your knowledge of First Aid principles and practices
Requirements:
• Current certification as Lifesaving Society or Red Cross Instructor
• Excellent leadership and organizational capabilities
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Comfort teaching in diverse City environments
• Consent to a Police Information/Vulnerable Sector Check
