Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Tennis Coach to inspire players of all ages and skill levels. In this role, you will deliver engaging tennis lessons, develop tailored training programs, and foster a positive environment that encourages growth and love for the sport. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help elevate our community’s tennis experience and promote active lifestyles.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group tennis lessons for players of various ages and skill levels
- Design customized training plans to improve technique, strategy, and fitness
- Demonstrate proper stroke techniques, footwork, and game tactics with clear instruction
- Maintain a safe playing environment by enforcing rules and ensuring equipment safety
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and program coordinators to track progress
- Assist in organizing tournaments, clinics, or special events to promote engagement
- Support the development of beginner to advanced players through coaching certifications such as sports-specific training instruction
Experience
- Prior coaching experience in tennis or related sports such as basketball, cheerleading, or martial arts
- Knowledge of teaching physical education or working with children in a sports setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage behavior effectively
- Familiarity with working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Demonstrated ability to teach sports-specific skills such as Judo or Karate is beneficial
