Swimming Coach (Winter)

Silver Lake Regional High school is in search of a boys’ and girls’ swimming coach in charge of training and management of the high school swimming program.

Qualifications:

• Experience coaching high school swimming; experience working with students
• Previous high school coaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Teach the skills and strategies of swimming to student-athletes in grades 9-12.
• Be a role-model and teacher of swimming including; practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
• Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs. Communicate regularly with families as needed.

Salary is a stipend depending on experience as outlined in the SLEA contract.
