Position Summary
Paddle Up Pickleball Club is seeking a passionate and community-focused Club Manager to lead our Quincy location. This individual will serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for daily operations, staff leadership, member experience, and overall club growth.
More than a facility manager, we are looking for someone who believes in building relationships, creating memorable experiences, and fostering a welcoming environment where players of all ages and skill levels can connect through pickleball.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape one of the region’s fastest-growing pickleball communities while making a meaningful impact in Quincy and the surrounding area.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range
$50,000 – $65,000 annually + bonus
Compensation will be based on experience, leadership background, and demonstrated ability to manage people, operations, and membership growth.

Performance Incentive Program
In addition to base salary, the Club Manager will be eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to club growth and overall performance.

Target bonus opportunity:$5,000 – $15,000 annually
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Culture
- Lead and inspire the Quincy team
- Create a positive, welcoming, and accountable culture
- Coach and develop front desk staff and team leaders
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff training
- Serve as a visible leader within the club and community
Member Experience
- Ensure every member and guest receives exceptional service
- Build relationships with members and prospective members
- Address member concerns promptly and professionally
- Support member retention initiatives
- Foster a strong sense of community within the club
Operations
- Oversee daily club operations
- Manage staff schedules and coverage
- Maintain facility appearance and cleanliness standards
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Monitor club usage, court utilization, and operational performance
Growth & Community Development
- Drive membership growth and retention
- Support local marketing and community outreach efforts
- Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders
- Assist with sponsorship and partnership initiatives
- Support ambassador programs and community-building efforts
Programming Support
- Collaborate with programming leadership to ensure successful leagues, tournaments, events, clinics, and organized play sessions
- Gather member feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support special events and community initiatives
Education & Experience
Required
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Recreation, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Club Management
- Fitness Facilities
- Sports Facilities
- YMCA or Recreation Centers
- Hospitality Management
- Country Clubs
- Membership-Based Organizations
- Customer Service Leadership
- Experience managing staff, schedules, and day-to-day operations.
- Passion for sports, recreation, community engagement, or pickleball.

Pickleball experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
