We’re looking for someone who enjoys talking to people. Engaging with customers and colleagues isn’t always easy, but with the right training you can become a successful Swim Teacher. We also value people from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be in their first ever job and need extra support.
In the role of Swim Teacher, you will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals.

Hours
13 hours per week, Monday – Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements
- To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
- To communicate with children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme.
- To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline.
- Welsh language skills are desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- An ability to assist with children and their parents.
- Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
