Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Teacher. As a Camp Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. Responsibilities:
– Supervise and engage campers in various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games
– Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development
– Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
– Assist with meal times, including serving food and monitoring dietary restrictions
– Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts or challenges
– Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp environment
– Maintain accurate records of camper attendance and behavior
Skills:
– Classroom management: Ability to effectively manage a group of children in a structured setting
– Sports coaching: Experience in coaching or leading sports activities for children
– Childhood development: Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
– Daycare or special education experience: Familiarity with working with children with diverse needs
– Education or tutoring experience: Ability to provide academic support and assistance to campers
– Babysitting: Experience in caring for children in a one-on-one setting
– Theater: Knowledge of theater arts and ability to lead drama activities for campers
