PREMIUM PAY FOR PRIVATE LESSONS (see below)
Woodland Hills Private School is seeking responsible, reliable, enthusiastic, and experienced substitute lifeguards /private swim instructors for its preschool summer program (3 – 5 years old) and Camp Woodland Hills program (TK – 6th grade) that runs from June 8-August 7. Daily responsibilities may include teaching swim lessons and pool supervision.
In addition to covering the available shifts, substitutes will also have the opportunity to cover the private swim lessons scheduled for that day at a rate of $41.50 per 25-minute session ($80/hour).
Our Oxnard Campus has 2 in-ground swimming pools, and our Collins Campus has 1 in-ground swimming pool.
SALARY
- Lifeguard: Commensurate with experience ($19-23/hour)
- Private Swim Instructor: $41.50 per private lesson (each lesson is 25 minutes and based on demand)
HOURS
- On an as needed basis (covering call outs and pre-planned days off).
- Substitutes have the ability to decline an offered shift depending on their availability.
- Shifts are approximately 5 hours/day (Monday through Friday) + any additional hours from private swim lessons.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must be 18 years or older
- Valid and current lifeguard certification
- CPR and first aid for professional rescuers
- Must be comfortable and have experience with children (3 years old – 6th grade)
- Must pass drug test
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal
Pay: $19.00 – $83.00 per hour
