Legacy Barbell is one of the fastest-growing strength-focused training facilities in the Tampa Bay area.
We serve over 300 members ranging from everyday adults and busy professionals to competitive powerlifters, athletes, and individuals who simply want to become stronger, healthier, and more capable.

What You’ll Do
Coach Clients
Deliver exceptional one-on-one personal training sessions
Coach semi-private and small group training sessions
Help clients achieve measurable results
Modify and individualize training when necessary
Create safe, effective, and engaging training experiences
Track client progress and celebrate wins
Build Relationships
Learn every client’s goals, motivations, and challenges
Create an environment where members feel welcomed, supported, and valued
Build trust through consistency, professionalism, and genuine care
Follow up with current and prospective clients
Help members stay accountable and committed to their goals
Grow the Business
Conduct consultations and introductory sessions
Assist with member onboarding
Generate referrals through exceptional service
Support sales and retention efforts
Participate in community events, outreach, and facility promotions
Help prospective members understand how coaching can change their lives
Help Build the Culture
Lead by example every day
Maintain a positive and professional attitude
Support fellow coaches and staff members
Keep the facility clean, organized, and presentation-ready
Pursue continuing education and professional growth
Protect and elevate the Legacy Barbell standard

Preferred Qualifications
Personal Training Certification (NSCA, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, ACE, or equivalent)
CPR/AED Certification
Experience coaching strength and resistance training
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to coach clients of varying ages, backgrounds, and experience levels
Bonus Qualifications
Powerlifting coaching experience
USPA or USA Powerlifting involvement
Competitive lifting experience
Experience coaching athletes
Sales, consultation, or client retention experience
Leadership experience within a gym or coaching environment
