Sports Management & Operations Intern
HUB Sports Boston provides Adult Social Sports Leagues to the Boston and Greater Boston area. With 20,000 annual players among 10 different sport offerings, HUB Sports Boston has experienced an abundance of growth and is looking to build out our internship program. HUB Sports Boston is seeking interns for the upcoming season. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for sport management & operations students seeking hands-on-experience in operations, sales, and marketing in one of the most sports centric cities in the nation. This intern would work alongside our Director of Operations and our Operations Manager.

No coffee runs. No busy work. Interns at HUB will be working alongside our close knit team on real, valuable projects, spend a good amount of their time in the field alongside our HUB players gaining valuable insights into our programming, and overall leave our internship program with a better understanding of what direction they want their future career in sports to lead them. In addition to department specific responsibilities, all HUB interns will also be enrolled in our HUB Ambassador Program. This program allows interns to visit various leagues in our programs and gain insightful feedback that directly correlates with their efforts made in the office.
Some responsibilities may include…
- Assist with the upkeep of all sport league pages, ensuring correct information
- Managing the Daily Score Reporting entry & Team Player waivers/roster management
- Confirmation of officials across all platforms to ensure all games are covered
- Planning/Attending Captain Meetings for our HUB players
- Inventory Management: Team shirts and supply assignment
- Day to day field management as needed
HUB Ambassador Program
- Accessing field locations for our programs
- Gathering brand content for our business (Photos, videos, etc.)
- Distribution of sales materials to our players
- Gaining insightful feedback from players
- Answering questions and relaying issues that may arise to the office
