We are seeking motivated, reliable, and energetic individuals to help lead our growing Recreational Development Program and Events with the additional opportunities to support Tournaments, Camps and Competitive Teams.
JOB OBJECTIVE
Under guidance from the Directors, the intern will assist in the management and organization of events, tournaments, and soccer programs. The position is accountable to the Directors of the organization. The intern will work closely with the Director or Operations and Tournaments team to learn the essentials of event management, logistics, and program implementation.

ROLE & SCOPE
- Assist with planning and organizing sports events and tournaments
- Coordinate with coaches, players, and parents to ensure smooth operations
- Field preparation and equipment setup, including setting up for games, events, and practices
- Assist in marketing efforts for events, including promotion and advertising
- Track attendance and participant feedback
- Help manage registration, scheduling, and communication for events
- Assist with the implementation of health and safety protocols
- Assist with partner research and development
GAME DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the site schedule, field flow, and Volunteer check-in
- Serve as a Tonka United ambassador to families, staff, and the community
COMPLIANCE & TRAINING
- SafeSport Certification
- CDC Concussion Training
- Background Check
COMPENSATION & COMMITMENT
- Hourly Pay through When I Work: $15
- 10–18 hours per week: open ended period of time

- Basic soccer/sport knowledge

- Availability for all scheduled training and games
- Primarily days Mon-Thurs (5–8 PM), Sat (8am-6pm)
