We are looking for an energetic, organized, and sports-passionate professional to lead the planning and execution of tournaments, leagues, camps, and special events across Cricket, Tennis, Pickleball, and future sports programs.
Position Overview
The Sports Events & Tournament Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, promoting, and executing all sporting events hosted by the academy.
This role requires someone who can take complete ownership of an event from concept to execution, while coordinating coaches, participants, vendors, sponsors, officials, and support staff.
The ideal candidate has previous experience managing sports tournaments, leagues, camps, or large-scale sporting events and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute tournaments, leagues, camps, and special events across Cricket, Tennis, and Pickleball.
- Manage registrations, scheduling, fixtures, logistics, and event operations.
- Coordinate with coaches, officials, vendors, sponsors, and participants.
- Ensure smooth event execution and exceptional participant experience.
- Support event marketing, sponsorship activities, and promotions.
- Track event performance and implement continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications
Education
Preferred:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Sports Management
- Sports Administration
- Sports Business Management
- Event Management
- Physical Education
Experience
- 3-8 years of experience in sports event management.
- Experience organizing tournaments, leagues, camps, or sports competitions.
- Experience working with sports academies, clubs, leagues, federations, schools, or sports event companies.

Within the first 6-8 months, the Sports Events & Tournament Manager will:

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sports Events & Tournament Manager located in Ahmedabad. The primary responsibilities include organizing and managing sports events and tournaments, coordinating with coaches, athletes, and stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of schedules and logistics. The role also involves promoting events, managing communications with respective teams, and ensuring the facility aligns with the standards of the SRT10 Altevol vision. The manager will also be expected to build and maintain positive client relationships as well as work closely with multiple departments to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Sports Coaching and Football with practical coaching experience
- Excellent Communication skills to coordinate effectively with teams, coaches, and stakeholders
- Proven Sales ability for promoting events, memberships, or programs
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Ahmedabad
- Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for sports and fostering an active, inclusive community
