Position Title: Sports Card Live Breaker & Content Host
Location: In-Store / Studio
About the Role
Minted TCG is looking for a high-energy, charismatic Sports Card Breaker to host live breaks, engage with customers, and help grow our online presence. If you love sports, know the hobby inside and out, and can entertain an audience while opening products live, this could be the perfect job.
This position is more than opening packs. We’re looking for someone who can create excitement, build relationships with customers, and keep viewers engaged throughout every live stream.
Responsibilities
- Host live sports card breaks on platforms such as Whatnot, Fanatics Live, TikTok, YouTube, and other streaming platforms.
- Interact with customers in real-time and create an exciting, welcoming atmosphere.
- Discuss players, teams, rookies, prospects, and current sports storylines during streams.
- Accurately sort, sleeve, top-load, and prepare cards for shipment.
- Assist with listing breaks, promoting upcoming events, and social media content.
- Maintain product knowledge on NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR, UFC, and other sports.
- Help identify valuable hits, parallels, autographs, and chase cards.
- Work with the team to create new break formats and customer engagement ideas.
Qualifications
Required
- Extensive knowledge of professional and collegiate sports.
- Strong understanding of sports cards, rookies, prospects, parallels, autos, grading, and the hobby market.
- Comfortable speaking on camera for extended periods.
- Energetic, outgoing, and highly engaging personality.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred
- Previous experience breaking on Whatnot, Fanatics Live, TikTok Shop, or similar platforms.
- Experience creating social media content.
- Sales or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of card grading (PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC).
