- Business Leadership & Financial Performance:
- Own and be fully accountable for the store P&L, driving to achieve and exceed the annual sales target (RMB 50-80M/year).
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize sales, profitability, and market share within the designated store.
- Analyze key business reports (sales, inventory, traffic, conversion) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, implementing swift and effective action plans.
- Wholesale Partnership & Collaboration:
- Build and maintain a strong, professional, and productive relationship with the partner to ensure alignment on business goals and operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary bridge between Salomon HQ and the account, facilitating clear communication and ensuring brand standards are met.
- Collaborate with account's support functions to secure necessary resources and ensure efficient store operations.
- Customer Experience & Community Building:
- Create an unparalleled guest experience that embodies the Salomon spirit of adventure, expertise, and community.
- Lead the team to build deep relationships with high-value guests (VIPs) and the local outdoor sports community, fostering loyalty and driving repeat business.
- Develop and host community events (e.g., night runs, trail hiking, product clinics) to position the store as the hub for key city’s outdoor enthusiasts.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a large team of retail professionals to achieve their highest potential.
- Foster a high-performance culture centered on expert product knowledge, exceptional service, and achieving collective goals.
- Manage all aspects of team performance, including goal setting, regular feedback, and development planning.
- Retail Operations & Merchandising:
- Ensure all store operations are executed with excellence, including inventory management, visual merchandising, loss prevention, and health & safety.
- Manage store inventory integrity: oversee receiving, transfers, and annual counts; optimize stock levels to support sales goals and minimize shrinkage.
- Guarantee the store's visual presentation consistently reflects global brand guidelines and local commercial needs.
- New Store Opening & Project Management:
- Lead the end-to-end preparation and execution for the grand opening of the new flagship store, coordinating across brand, account, and mall parties.
- Manage all pre-opening activities, including staff recruitment & training, merchandising, stock coordination, and opening event planning. Role Qualifications Working seniority and experiences:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of store management experience in premium retail (luxury, premium sportswear, or athletic footwear).
- Proven track record of leading a high-volume store (RMB 50M+ annual turnover).
- Preference will be given to candidates with direct retail or complex franchise management experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of brand-led operations and excellence in execution.
- Must have experience in managing large teams of 15+ employees, with evidence of effective coaching, development, and performance management.
- Experience in new store openings is a must. Education level and qualifications:
- University Degree in Business Administration or a related field. Core competency (Business and technical skills):
- Strong Business Acumen: Deep understanding of retail math, P&L management, and commercial drivers.
- Exceptional Leadership: Ability to inspire, lead, and develop large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic Influencer: Superior communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships (HQ, Account, Mall).
- Problem Solver: Adept at analyzing data, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, such as the new store opening, alongside day-to-day operations.
- Fluent in English is a strong plus for reporting and communication with global teams. Soft-skills:
