Revived Athlete Recovery & Massage is a high-performance, athlete-focused recovery facility serving active individuals, everyday athletes, and competitive sport populations.

We are not a spa. Our environment is athletic, high-energy, and results-driven, blending sports massage, recovery modalities, and holistic wellness practices to help clients move better, recover faster, and perform at a higher level.

We are currently expanding into the Worcester Ice Center, a premier training and performance facility. This expansion brings:

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled, motivated Sports Massage Therapist who thrives working with active clients and wants to be part of a growing, performance-driven team.

This role is unique in that it combines:

  • Private treatment room sessions (traditional massage environment)
  • Open-floor bodywork (our most popular service), where therapists work in a dynamic, athletic recovery space alongside other modalities

The ideal candidate is both technically strong and intuitive, able to adapt their approach based on the client, environment, and performance goals.

Training & Development

We provide paid training to ensure every therapist is confident and aligned with the Revived approach.

Training includes:

  • Our open-floor bodywork system (signature service)
  • Client flow, communication, and treatment structure
  • Integration of recovery tools and modalities
  • Brand standards, client experience, and expectations

Training is hands-on and performance-focused, designed to help you:

  • Build confidence quickly
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality sessions
  • Get booked and rebooked faster

Key Responsibilities Bodywork & Client Care

  • Provide sports massage, deep tissue, and recovery-focused bodywork
  • Deliver sessions in both private rooms and open recovery spaces
  • Customize treatments based on client goals, movement patterns, and injuries
  • Support clients with pain management, recovery, and performance optimization
  • Educate clients on mobility, recovery tools, and self-care strategies
  • Track client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Client Experience

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients
  • Adapt communication style to each individual (“read the room”)
  • Create an energetic, welcoming, and professional experience
  • Contribute to a team atmosphere that feels motivating and supportive

Team & Facility Contribution

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
  • Reset rooms and shared spaces between sessions
  • Assist with laundry, equipment upkeep, and general flow of the space
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall client experience
  • Participate in growth initiatives and marketing efforts when needed

Compensation Structure

  • TBD in detail during interview
  • Commission based
  • Room for growth and promotions + pay raises

Ideal Availability

We are looking for therapists with consistent weekly availability, ideally including:

  • Evenings
  • Weekends

This allows therapists to build and maintain a strong, returning client base.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (Massachusetts or eligible)
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics
  • Experience with sports massage and deep tissue techniques
  • Ability to work in both private and open treatment environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (ESPECIALLY) in sports settings
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Experience working with athletes or active populations
  • Cupping therapy
  • Stretching / mobility work
  • IASTM or similar techniques
  • Taping (KT or athletic taping)
  • Familiarity with recovery tools (Normatec, sauna, ice bath, red light)
