Job Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance team’s mission to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to facilitate the decision-making of key internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
· Conduct month-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
· Support the quarterly reviews and year-end audit with the independent auditors.
· Perform research and analytical review on significant transactions.
· Has a strong ability and interest to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and provide guidance on accounting-related matters.
· Ad-hoc accounting related projects.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; master’s in accounting/CPA preferred
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
· Positive and helpful attitude, along with commitment to process improvements
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounting roles
· Proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour
