Regional Account Manager – B2B Outside Sales Jobs in Santa Fe Springs, CA at Southland Polymers

We are looking for aggressive, self-motivated individuals to add to our sales team. If you thrive on being part of a team that is going places, we want to talk to you!

The position involves working in an outside sales capacity with existing and new accounts in California and in surrounding states. Industry specific training will be provided.

You will be required to:

  • Learn about and become proficient in the company’s product lines
  • Work with the sales team to craft and implement sales strategies
  • Process inbound orders and follow-up on customer requests
  • Work with the customer service and logistics teams to fill customer orders quickly and accurately
  • Prospect accounts from both existing lists of target accounts
  • Cold call and discover new prospects through online and published sources
  • Aggressively follow-up on leads
  • Be responsible for providing excellent customer service
  • Independently maintain and manage a constant pipeline of prospective accounts through the sales process.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a B2B sales capacity and possess the personality, work ethic, and integrity that are required to work at a company that is seeking to aggressively expand its national sales footprint

Candidates should have extensive experience prospecting and/or cold-calling new accounts. Prior plastic sales experience is preferred, as is familiarity with the following software packages: CRM/Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. College degree preferred.

This is a position for self-starters who are aggressive, hard-working, and looking to develop a long-term sales-oriented career.

COMPENSATION:

Base salary plus bonus. Benefits include health care and 401k.
