Duties
- Lead energetic reformer Pilates classes that cater to various fitness levels, emphasizing proper technique and safety.
- Design innovative workout programs that incorporate Pilates principles alongside complementary disciplines such as yoga, dance, or sports coaching.
- Demonstrate exercises clearly and provide modifications to accommodate individual needs and limitations.
- Motivate participants by creating an engaging atmosphere that encourages progress and confidence.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and properly stored.
- Track client progress and provide feedback to support their fitness journey.
- Promote additional services such as personal training sessions or group classes to enhance member engagement and retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching reformer Pilates classes with a strong understanding of body mechanics and physiology.
- Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and exercise science to ensure safe and effective instruction.
- Certification in Pilates instruction are mandatory
- Familiarity with group fitness settings within gyms or health clubs; experience in cycling or dance is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants.
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals through innovative program design.
