What You’ll Be Doing:
A Department Leader is one of the top-level supervisor positions in our organization. Here, you are the leader of an entire department. Your focus is on leading the instructors/coaches in your department, delegating effectively, obtaining buy-in, communicating to your staff, and ensuring results are met which are driven by mutual goals.
Basic Duties Include:
-Create and maintain yearly program curriculum with theme weeks.
-Prepare a Program newsletter, calendar, and update theme board(s).
-Maintain charts / methods of tracking gymnasts progress.
-Drive new business and maintain enrollment expectations.
-Lead/Inspire and Manage Munchkins in Motion Staff
-Show Week Coordination
-Attend Weekly Leadership Meetings
What You’ll Need:
Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following:
- Class instructor or coach at Greater Buffalo Gymnastics
- Experience in gymnastics
- Sports coaching, sports motivation
- Athletic performance or an aptitude for teaching and mentoring
- Demonstrating a desire to work with and interact with children
