Responsibilities
- Support physical therapists by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient setup for therapy sessions
- Help with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical histories and explaining treatment plans
- Assist with patient mobility, ensuring safety during exercises and transfers under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment spaces
- Monitor patient progress during sessions and report observations to the therapy team
- Facilitate communication between patients and therapists to enhance comfort and understanding
- Document patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes accurately in medical records
Experience
- Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings is highly preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient environments
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology enhances your ability to support effective therapy sessions
- Experience with acute care, post-acute care, or sub-acute care environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with hospital medicine, orthopedics, geriatrics, or outpatient clinics will help you excel in this role
- Previous exposure to patient service roles focused on patient care and safety is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced setting

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
