We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support our physical therapists in providing exceptional patient care and assisting with rehabilitation programs. The Physical Therapy Aide will work in a fast-paced hospital setting, interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds and requiring a strong understanding of healthcare principles.
**Responsibilities**
– Assist physical therapists with patient care and rehabilitation programs
– Help with patient assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress
– Provide patient education on exercise routines, stretching techniques, and other physical therapy procedures
– Support patients with mobility issues
– Conduct vital signs and assist with patient care
– Monitor patients’ physiological responses during exercises
– Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and data entry
– Work closely with physical therapists to ensure patients receive optimal care
– Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment
– Engage with patients to provide encouragement and motivation throughout their rehabilitation process.
**Skills**
– Strong understanding of physiology and medical terminology
– Experience working in customer service
– Familiarity with patient care
– Ability to assist patients with mobility issues
– Knowledge of patient service and communication techniques
– Comfortable with patients and able to provide emotional support
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– Prior experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or in a related healthcare field is highly preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $23.00 per hour
