Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Coach

Schedule: Part-Time | Preferred Hours: Weekday mornings.

FitSport is seeking an experienced, energetic, and engaging Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Coach to join our growing team in Pasadena. We’re looking for a fitness professional who is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals while creating an encouraging, inclusive, and motivating training environment.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced coach who enjoys working with adults of all fitness levels in both one-on-one and small group settings and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
About FitSport
FitSport is a gym and athletic training center located in Pasadena with 14,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor training space, a fully equipped strength, combat and conditioning gym, functional training areas, and an inviting atmosphere where clients feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to succeed. In addition to a thriving base of loyal 1-1 clients, the gym offers daily group classes in Interval Strength & Cardio, Kickboxing, Boxing, Ageless Athletes – functional, low impact strength and mobility for seniors, Tai Chi, and Instructional Weightlifting. Additionally, FitSport is launching new, coach-led training pods (maximum 5 persons) focused on specific health, fitness & wellness outcomes with a personal training touch.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging personal training sessions tailored to individual client goals.
- Coach group fitness classes with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to proper technique.
- Develop effective, and progressive training programs for small group training pods leveraging your unique strengths, passions and specialization.
- Build strong relationships with members through exceptional customer service.
- Motivate clients while maintaining a positive, high-energy environment.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized training space.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches to deliver an outstanding member experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional personal training and/or group fitness coaching experience.
- Current nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High-energy, positive personality with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Preferred Experience
We are especially interested in coaches who have experience working with women across a variety of fitness goals and life stages, and who understand the unique training considerations that help female clients feel confident, supported, and successful. Experience with strength training, weight management, functional fitness, pre- and post-menopausal fitness, or other women’s fitness specialties is highly valued.
