Discovery Dunes Golf Club is seeking an energetic, service-driven, and hands-on Outdoor Pursuits Supervisor to join our team and help deliver exceptional recreational experiences for our members and guests.
From youth camps and family events to racket sports, archery, water activities, and outdoor adventures, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys creating memorable moments for both children and adults. If you're passionate about sports, recreation, leadership, and delivering world-class member experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operation of our Outdoor Pursuits programs, Sports Park, Lake House, and youth activities.
- Deliver exceptional experiences through engaging, personalized service.
- Supervise youth camps, family programs, sports activities, and special events.
- Support a variety of recreation programs including racket sports, archery, water-based activities, and outdoor adventures.
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in accordance with company standards and risk management procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and support team members through training and daily leadership.
- Conduct facility, equipment, and safety inspections to maintain operational excellence.
- Manage activity schedules, equipment inventory, and operational readiness.
- Build strong relationships with members and guests while promoting participation and engagement.
What Skills & Qualifications Are Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in recreation, sports, hospitality, outdoor pursuits, youth programming, or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
- Strong passion for creating exceptional guest and member experiences.
- Experience working with children, youth programs, camps, or family activities is highly desirable.
- First Aid and CPR Certification (required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, positive, and hands-on approach to leadership.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
