Precision Care Medical & Sports Performance is hiring a new graduate Physical Therapist for our Shell Road clinic in Brooklyn.
This is a real first job, not a sink-or-swim start. We built our new grad track around what we wish more first-year PT roles offered: real mentorship, time to develop clinical reasoning, direct access to senior clinicians and physicians, and a gradual caseload ramp-up so you are not overwhelmed in week one. Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekends, no on-call, with strong compensation starting at $90,000, student loan support, CEU money, and license reimbursement.
Mentorship That Actually Means Something
Your first job should build your clinical confidence, not break it.
You will start by shadowing and co-treating alongside senior clinicians, observing evaluations, assisting with treatments, and learning our documentation process before carrying a full caseload. As you get more comfortable, your schedule builds gradually, with a dedicated mentor available for check-ins on difficult cases.
You will also have access to senior PTs, on-site interventional pain management physicians, and sports performance specialists. When a complex case comes up, you are not left guessing alone.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain referrals
- Provide hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and progressive sport-specific programming
- Direct PT technicians during warm-ups, exercise circuits, and treatment flow
- Build individualized treatment plans with support from your mentor, senior clinicians, and on-site physicians
- Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports in our EMR
- Help patients return to work, sport, training, and daily life with confidence
What We Offer
- Starting salary of $90,000/year, with higher compensation available depending on clinical rotations, certifications, and readiness
- Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, no on-call, and no holidays
- Real schedule flexibility for appointments, family needs, and life outside work
- Structured new grad mentorship with a dedicated senior clinician
- Gradual caseload ramp-up based on your development
- $1,500 annual CEU stipend
- $5,250/year toward student loans, paid directly to your loan servicer after the 90-day introductory period
- NY PT license application and renewal reimbursement
- NPTE support if you are awaiting results or eligible for a NY limited permit
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- PTO and 401(k) with employer match
- Modern rehab and performance equipment, including an Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill
- Growth path into senior and lead clinician roles
Who We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or graduating this spring/summer
- Active New York State PT license, NY limited permit, or eligibility to sit for the next NPTE cycle
- Strong orthopedic or sports clinical rotations preferred
- Genuine interest in manual therapy, outpatient orthopedics, sports rehab, and active patient care
- Comfortable in a team-based outpatient clinic with technician support
- Coachable, curious, reliable, and looking to build a career, not just take a first paycheck
Why Precision Care
Precision Care Medical & Sports Performance is a multi-location outpatient practice built around integrated care: physical therapy, interventional pain management, and sports performance under one roof.
For a new grad, that matters. Your hardest cases do not disappear into a referral loop. The physician managing your patient’s spine injection may be right down the hall, so you can ask questions, learn, and connect the dots in real time.
Outpatient PT in Brooklyn is a tough market to start a career in. We are trying to be the clinic that actually supports new grads through their first year with mentorship, technician support, meaningful compensation, schedule flexibility, and a real path forward.
