To ensure that we have the right structures in place to support the achievement of our goals we are currently recruiting for a Marketing & Events Executive to join our Markets team.

The Marketing & Events Executive will support the planning and delivery and continuous improvement of integrated corporate hospitality, conference, sponsorships, events and campaigns that promote the firm’s services, expertise, client experience and brand.

The successful candidate will work closely with Partners, practice areas and the wider Markets team to ensure all activity is well co-ordinated, commercially focused, on brand and delivered to a consistently high standard delivering a distinctive client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Event, Sponsorship & Client Hospitality

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of internal and external events, sponsorship activations, client hospitality programmes and webinars, ensuring a seamless experience for clients, guests and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including invitations, RSVPs, materials, suppliers, digital platform and venue arrangements.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of hospitality experiences that strengthen client relationships
  • Research event, sponsorship and client engagement trends, emerging technologies and industry best practice, bringing forward ideas to enhance event delivery, guest engagement and the overall client experience.

Conferences

  • Provide support in the coordination of external conferences, sponsorships and speaking opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of materials, logistics and stakeholder coordination to ensure smooth execution.
  • Help track activity and outcomes to showcase impact.

CRM, Data & Administration

  • Maintain client data, invitation lists and reporting on our CRM, ensuring GDPR compliance and data accuracy.
  • Track attendance and assist in evaluating event outcomes and gathering feedback to inform future planning and continuous improvement

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, venues and event partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external organisers to deliver high-quality events and client experiences.
  • Contribute ideas, insights and feedback to improve processes, drive innovation and maximise the impact of marketing and events activities.
  • Provide responsive and professional coordination and support.
  • Any other relevant duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing, events, communications or business development role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive and ideas-oriented mindset, with the confidence to contribute innovative ideas for events and client engagement.
  • Experience supporting events, webinars, client hospitality, campaigns or sponsorship activities, including budget tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, event and email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • An interest in market trends, innovation and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems and CRM optimisation.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding client value and return on investment
  • Ability to bring innovation and continuous improvement in marketing activities.
