The Cambodian Premier League (CPL) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives that enhance the league’s brand, strengthen commercial partnerships, and engage football fans across Cambodia and beyond.
This role is integral to the successful delivery of sponsor activations, matchday marketing activities, events, and promotional campaigns.
The successful candidate will assist in managing sponsor relationships, coordinating marketing operations, and ensuring that partnership rights and marketing commitments are executed to the highest professional standards.
This post reports to the Head of Marketing and collaborates across the Commercial, Media, and Operations teams, as well as with clubs, stadium management, suppliers, and external partners. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in delivering impactful marketing campaigns, enhancing sponsor value, and contributing to the continued growth and visibility of Cambodian football.
Responsibilities
Sponsor & Partner Management
· Support sponsor communication and requests.
· Deliver sponsor benefits, tickets, documents, and materials.
· Prepare sponsor reports and track sponsorship activities.
Matchday & Event Operations
· Support matchday preparation and event execution.
· Coordinate sponsor branding setup, VIP arrangements, and sponsor activations.
· Assist with football events, fan activities, and special programs.
Marketing Administration & Report
· Prepare weekly marketing reports and updates.
· Maintain marketing documents, contracts, and records.
· Support presentations, meetings, and follow-up tasks.
Content & Fan Engagement Support
· Assist with social media content and sponsor-related posts.
· Collect photos, videos, and branding exposure evidence.
· Support activities to improve fan experience.
Coordination & Supplier Management
· Coordinate with internal teams, clubs, stadiums, and suppliers.
· Follow up on production, branding materials, and event requirements.
Ensure tasks are completed on time.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
· Previous experience in marketing, sponsorship, event management, sports, or a related industry is preferred.
· Strong interest and understanding of football, sports marketing, and fan engagement.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with sponsors, partners, clubs, and internal teams.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and marketing documents.
· Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing activities.
· Ability to coordinate events, suppliers, and operational activities.
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
· Good problem-solving skills and a proactive working attitude.
· Ability to work under pressure, especially during matchdays and major events.
· Good command of English and Khmer (written and spoken).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of design tools is an advantage.
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays when required. A male assistant is preferred for this position.
