Overview
The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.

Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II (Ticket Operations Coordinator) for the Athletics Ticket Office. This position works under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Operations.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Assists in the overall administration of Ticket Operations which includes the daily management of the Paciolan ticketing system (build events, create & maintain eVenue online sales platform, build renewal applications and provide reporting as needed).
  • Serves as the primary ticket office liaison for Wrestling, Men’s Lacrosse and outside events as assigned.
  • Develops, maintains and analyzes ticket sales, attendance and revenue reports.
  • Supports the Marketing and Communications department with email marketing communications.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Sport Management, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Certifications/Licenses

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of ticket office experience.
  • Knowledge of Paciolan or other ticketing platforms and Salesforce CRM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
