Certified Lifeguard – Must Already Have Certification
Under the direction of the Community Parks and Recreation Director, the lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of customers in and around pool areas. The lifeguard may also provide customer service support and assist with various maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Openings for permanent part‑time (less than 30 hours per week), part‑time (less than 15 hours per week) and seasonal (summer) positions.
Eligibility:
- At least 15 years old at the time of hire.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
Special Requirements
Swim test is required.
- Candidate must obtain American Red Cross certification in Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED.
Salary: $22.97+ per hour for permanent positions; $19.00 per hour for seasonal positions.
