Jolly Trolley Assistant Coach (Part-Time)

The Jolly Trolley is Houston’s most magical gym-on-wheels, rolling joy and movement straight to schools, daycares, and birthday parties all over town! We’re looking for a high-energy, kid-loving, ready-to-roll Assistant Coach to help support our lead instructors during classes and events aboard The Jolly Trolley.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist our Lead Coach during 30-minute mobile gym classes for children ages 18 months to 6 years old
- Help set up and break down simple obstacle courses and themed movement stations
- Encourage little ones as they balance, jump, tumble, and giggle their way through class
- Sing along, clap, high-five, and create a positive, fun, and engaging experience for every child
- Support classroom behavior management, bathroom breaks, transitions, and safety monitoring
- Occasionally assist with weekend birthday parties, open houses, or community events
Who You Are:
- Enthusiastic, upbeat, and great with kids!
- Punctual, reliable, and professional with a team-player attitude
- Comfortable working in warm weather (our Trolley is air-conditioned, but we are mobile!)
- Able to lift light equipment and move easily on and off the Trolley
- Open to flexible hours: weekday mornings/afternoons with occasional Saturdays
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in early childhood, movement, or coaching is a bonus—but we’ll train the right fit!
