Yas Heat Racing – Karting Division is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Karting Manager to lead our growing karting program and drive excellence across all levels of competitive racing.
This is a unique leadership opportunity for a high-performance motorsport professional who combines exceptional coaching ability, technical understanding, and strategic team management. You will be responsible for overseeing driver development, team performance, technical coordination, and overall karting operations across IAME and ROTAX championships, supporting drivers from Bambino, Micro, Mini, Junior, and Senior categories
About the Role
As the Karting Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of racing talent while leading a professional and results-driven karting operation. Working closely with team management, technical staff, drivers, and support personnel, you will ensure the successful delivery of training programs, testing activities, race events, and long-term driver development pathway
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall karting program strategy, performance planning, and driver development framework across all categories
- Deliver high-level coaching focused on racecraft, technique, mental preparation, and performance enhancement
- Oversee trackside operations, ensuring seamless coordination between drivers, mechanics, and technical staff during testing and race weekends
- Analyze driver data, onboard footage, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with the Technical Manager and mechanics to optimize chassis setup, engine performance, and race-day execution
- Develop structured progression pathways for drivers moving through the karting ranks.
- Manage race weekend strategy, session planning, driver preparation, and competitive execution.
- Ensure compliance with FIA Karting regulations and championship requirements.
- Coordinate operational planning, logistics, and scheduling across UAE karting circuits and international events where applicable.
- Foster a disciplined, professional, and high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement.
Job requirement
- Proven experience in karting coaching, driver development, or team management roles
- Strong understanding of competitive kart racing environments within the UAE
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
- Technical knowledge of IAME and ROTAX platforms is highly advantageous.
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
- UAE driving license (Category 3 or Category 5) is an advantage
