Position Summary
We’re looking for a certified Mat Pilates Instructor to lead our group classes and bring real energy to the studio floor – someone who knows the technique inside and out and gets that in 2026, part of building a class is building a following.
Responsibilities
- Lead group Mat Pilates classes tailored to different skill levels and goals
- Coach proper body mechanics and alignment to keep clients safe and progressing
- Build creative class plans across various mat-based Pilates techniques
- Offer modifications/progressions for different fitness levels
- Keep the room’s energy up – motivating, not intimidating
- Stay current on Pilates methodology and fitness trends
- Keep the studio clean and organized
- Actively contribute to studio content – think class clips to help grow our online presence and bring new members in the door
Qualifications
- Certified in Mat Pilates instruction from a recognized organization
- Experience in personal training, group fitness, kickboxing, or sports coaching is a plus
- Solid grasp of body mechanics and exercise physiology
- Strong communicator, natural motivator
- Active, engaged Instagram presence – you don’t need huge numbers, but you should already be posting
- Previous studio/health club experience preferred
