Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Mission Bay, San Francisco, CA, for a Youth Soccer Coach working with children ages 2–5. The coach will lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate soccer sessions that introduce basic movement, coordination, and early soccer skills through games and activities.
The role focuses on creating a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where young children can build confidence, develop social skills, and learn teamwork. Coaches will guide simple drills, help children follow instructions, and celebrate participation and effort over competition.
Additional responsibilities include communicating with parents, managing small groups during sessions, tracking attendance, and collaborating with other coaches to ensure a consistent and enjoyable experience for all players.
Hours
Every Saturday 9am-12pm. Each Session is 45-50 minutes long with a break in between.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Soccer Coaching and Football principles with a strong understanding of techniques, tactics, and strategies
- Effective Communication skills to interact with players, parents, and team members
- Experience in Education and Coaching related to youth sports or athletic programs
- Strong leadership and motivational abilities to inspire teamwork and sportsmanship
- Relevant coaching certifications are preferred
- Understanding of player development and safety measures for youth sports
- Passion for soccer and promoting its values in a positive and inclusive environment
Pay: $26.62 – $50.00 per hour
