As we continue to scale our operations in Ghana, we are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead our people operations, foster a high-performance culture, and support our rapid business growth.
Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager will oversee the entire HR lifecycle for iLOT Bet Ghana. This includes leading talent acquisition, managing employee relations, driving performance evaluation, ensuring regulatory compliance with local labor laws, and managing payroll and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for various departments. Draft job descriptions, screen candidates, coordinate interview panels, and design seamless onboarding experiences.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries. Resolve workplace conflicts impartially, champion staff welfare, and implement engagement initiatives to maintain high morale.
Performance Management: Implement and oversee robust Performance Management Systems (PMS). HR policies in strict alignment with the Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651). Manage disciplinary procedures professionally and transparently.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee monthly payroll processing, manage statutory deductions (SSNIT, GRA Tier 1 & Tier 2 taxes
Administrative Oversight: Manage daily office operations, maintain secure and structured personnel filing systems, and oversee office administration staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., CIHRM, SHRM, or CHRA) is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the sports betting, fintech, e-commerce, or online entertainment industries.
Legal Knowledge: Deep, working familiarity with Ghana's labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
Skills:
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven ability to manage confidential data with high integrity.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven corporate environment.
