Overview
Stone Mountain High School is seeking a motivated Soccer Community Coach who has a passion for working with high school students. The ideal candidate should have excellent instructional delivery skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport of interest.
- Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare athletes for competition.
- Determine the need for individual or team improvement and accept directions from the Head Coach at all times.
- Lay Coach is required to assist with maintaining inventory of athletic equipment, up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques, and maintenance of locker rooms and playing facilities.
Community Coaches are temporary positions and must be renewed annually.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Permits
- Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
- Valid certificate in first aid required.
