Brief Job Description
Directly responsible for all aspects of men’s and women’s track and field and cross country programs, including recruitment of quality student-athletes; practice and meet preparation; scheduling and budget management; hiring and supervising assistant coaching staff; adherence to all NCAA DIII, SUNYAC and institutional policies.
This is an Appendix B position not eligible for permanent appointment.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; established record of successful coaching experience at the college level; proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes at the college level; excellent communication skills; a commitment to the values of NCAA Division III athletics; strong organizational and leadership skills. Experience working successfully with students from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
