** Job Overview
** Brentford FC women have a unique opportunity for an emerging, innovative and progressive Performance Analyst with data analytic capabilities. They will join our expanding women’s football department part-time, on a fixed term contract (approximately 21 hours per week).Whilst this is a part-time position within a developing programme, it is an important role within a highly ambitious environment with aspirations for significant future growth.
The successful candidate will benefit from working alongside experienced staff within the performance and data space and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge thinking and help shape future working practices.
Flexibility exists within how many of the administrative and analytical workflows are completed, with a proportion of work able to be undertaken outside of direct football contact hours. However, the role is centred around key operational touchpoints, including:
* Tuesday evening training
* Wednesday evening training
* Friday evening training
* Sunday fixtures
Given the need to provide timely and impactful insight to inform coaching decisions, there is an expectation that a significant proportion of analysis, reporting and quality assurance activity is front-loaded at the beginning of each week. This ensures coaches and practitioners have the information required to effectively plan, prepare and deliver throughout the training and match cycle.
Success in the role will come from balancing operational excellence with a proactive mindset—ensuring that data is not simply collected, but transformed into meaningful insight that enhances player development, supports decision-making and drives performance across the programme.
This is an ideal opportunity for a bright, ambitious and aspiring analyst looking to accelerate their development within football. Joining at an exciting stage of the programme’s journey, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help build strong foundations, work alongside experienced practitioners and play a meaningful role in creating a more connected, data-informed and high-performing environment for the future.
