Community Center Supervisor
Position Overview:
This is professional work in supervising and coordinating recreation and community service programs, activities, and events. Work involves responsibility for planning, implementing, promoting, and coordinating recreation and community service programs, large league tournaments, activities and events at a large community center.
Work also involves planning and scheduling of recreation facilities to include the pickleball, volleyball, and basketball courts, and overseeing operations and maintenance. Work requires frequent contact with community leaders and various civic groups, nationwide coaches and teams, and parents. Supervision is exercised over a staff of recreation employees.
Qualifications and Necessary
Special Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Marketing, Communication, or a related field from a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and some experience in the administration of recreation programs; or any combination of education, training and experience.
Valid driver’s license.
