We’re looking for an ambitious, driven and energetic Business Development & Sales Executive who loves chasing opportunities, picking up the phone and closing deals.

About the Role
This is a unique role with two exciting focuses.
1. Grow Our Venues
Your primary role will be filling our venue calendars by bringing new groups and organisations into House of Pickle locations.
You’ll be developing relationships with:
- Retirement villages and aged care providers
- Schools and universities
- Corporate businesses
- Sporting clubs
- Community groups
- Pickleball clubs and associations
- Local organisations and event groups
- Any other opportunities you identify
You’ll be responsible for creating new partnerships, booking recurring events, corporate functions, competitions, coaching programs and regular bookings across our growing network of venues.
2. Investment Sales Support
You’ll also work directly alongside our CEO, helping grow House of Pickle through investment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Calling investor enquiries
- Qualifying investment leads
- Building relationships with potential investors
- Hosting introductory meetings where appropriate
- Passing qualified investors through to the CEO to complete investment discussions
This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to business growth, capital raising and scaling a national company.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in cold calling or business development
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with business owners and executives
- Excellent communication skills
- High energy and a self-motivated attitude
- A hunger to earn significant commission
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team
Experience in sport, hospitality, events or investment sales is an advantage but not essential.
