We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Boxing Team Coach to inspire and develop athletes of all skill levels. In this role, you will lead boxing training sessions alongside other coaches, foster a positive team environment, and promote physical fitness and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate is passionate about boxing, sports coaching, and working with diverse groups, especially youth and beginners. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive boxing training programs tailored to individual skill levels and goals
  • Lead engaging practice sessions focusing on technique, conditioning, and strategic gameplay
  • Foster a motivating and inclusive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
  • Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training activities, including proper use of equipment and injury prevention measures
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents (if applicable), and team staff to promote clear understanding of training objectives and schedules
  • Maintain equipment, training facilities, and safety standards in accordance with organizational policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports coaching or athletic training, preferably with a focus on boxing or martial arts
  • Strong knowledge of boxing techniques, drills, and conditioning methods
  • Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or teaching capacity
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of athletes
  • First aid and CPR certification; AED operation knowledge is required for safety compliance
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with athletes of varying ages and skill levels
  • Background in sports-specific training instruction such as martial arts (Karate, Judo), soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading or climbing is advantageous
  • Ability to promote a positive environment that emphasizes discipline, respect, and personal growth
  • Prior experience in health clubs or gym settings is preferred but not mandatory
