Position Summary
The Baseball Instructor will provide private lessons, small group training, camps, clinics, and team instruction for players ranging from youth to high school and collegiate athletes. The ideal candidate has strong baseball knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing players both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and small group baseball lessons
- Teach hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, and overall baseball fundamentals
- Develop customized training plans based on player goals and skill levels
- Evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback
- Assist with camps, clinics, and special events
- Maintain a positive, professional, and encouraging training environment
- Build relationships with athletes and families to promote long-term player development
- Help grow lesson participation through exceptional customer service and athlete retention
- Ensure facility equipment and training areas remain clean and organized
- Represent D-BAT Medina in a professional manner at all times
Qualifications Preferred
- Previous playing experience at the high school, collegiate, or professional level
- Prior coaching or instructional experience
- Strong understanding of baseball mechanics and player development
- Ability to communicate effectively with athletes of all ages
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Passion for helping athletes improve and achieve their goals
Required
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and actively demonstrate baseball skills
- Must pass any required background checks
