Duties
- Lead lively and well-structured barre classes that incorporate body mechanics, physiology principles, and program design to maximize results.
- Demonstrate proper technique and form, ensuring safety and effectiveness during each session.
- Adapt exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels, injuries, or special needs of participants.
- Incorporate complementary skills such as Pilates, yoga, dancing, or cycling to diversify class offerings.
- Foster an energetic atmosphere that motivates members to push their limits while maintaining proper body mechanics.
- Promote health club memberships and personal training services through engaging interactions with participants.
- Maintain a clean, organized studio environment and ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly.
Skills
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on barre, Pilates, yoga, or dance-based classes.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics to design safe and effective workout programs.
- Familiarity with CrossFit or personal training concepts to enhance class variety and intensity.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants.
- Knowledge of fitness sales techniques to promote memberships and additional services.
- Experience with sports coaching or health club environments is a plus.
