Position: Assistant Coach for OPDL Programs
Join OPDL’s mission to enhance youth soccer as a part-time Assistant Coach. Focus on creating engaging training sessions and nurturing player development.
As an Assistant Coach, you will work closely with the Head Coach in the OPDL and Pre-OPDL programs, emphasizing quality programming and player retention. You will handle crucial communication via Team Snap and manage team dynamics. Attend essential coach education sessions to continuously improve your skills and contribute to the growth of players.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and support the Club’s player development philosophy
• Organize team practices and manage logistics
• Ensure accurate Team Snap updates for the team
• Communicate promptly with parents and staff
• Analyze training sessions when the Head Coach is absent
Requirements:
• Age-appropriate OS Coaching Certification
• Minimum of C-License training
• Ethical decision-making competencies
• Vulnerable Sector Check completion
• Strong commitment to self-improvement
