Diamond Afterschool Sports runs the leading school-based youth baseball & softball enrichment programs for elementary school students. We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible baseball coaches and assistant coaches to impact the lives of the children we serve and introduce the sports in a fun way. If you enjoy working with kids and love sports, our progressive lesson plans and learning materials will help you run great classes.
Baseball/softball experience is preferred but not essential. We provide full training prior to your first class and all the necessary support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Introduce players to baseball/softball through our educational and engaging programs.
Bring your personality to make classes fun.
Meet players after school, take attendance, and ensure they are collected after class.
Teach class using DAS lesson plans.
Maintain equipment.
Update class rosters and complete student progress reports.
REQUIREMENTS
Reliable, energetic, strong communication skills, and organized.
Be passionate about sports
Must like coaching children
Have reliable transportation
Must pass a background check
