Lead engaging sports and fitness activities as a Summer Session Activities Instructor at the Com Ed Recreation Center. Inspire participants with your proven instructional methods and passion for recreation.
This part-time role supports the Facility Manager at the Com Ed Recreation Center. As an Activities Instructor, you will provide supervision and guidance in various sports, fitness, arts, and crafts. Adapt programs for differing skill levels and promote safety and sportsmanship among participants while creating an enjoyable environment for all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in sports, games, and fitness
• Adapt activities for different skill levels
• Promote safety guidelines in all activities
• Officiate team and individual sports events
• Encourage creativity and sportsmanship among participants
Requirements:
• Previous teaching experience required
• Ability to teach classes in various sports
• Current Red Cross CPR certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and organized
