We are seeking an energetic and passionate Zumba Instructor to lead dynamic dance fitness classes that inspire participants to move, sweat, and have fun! Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy Zumba classes that incorporate Variety(Bollywood, Latin, Caribbean) -inspired dance moves and music to promote cardiovascular health and overall fitness.
- Design varied class routines that cater to different skill levels, ensuring all participants feel comfortable and challenged.
- Demonstrate proper dance techniques, body mechanics, and safety precautions to prevent injuries during classes.
- Engage with participants by providing encouragement, feedback, and modifications to accommodate individual needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming class environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Promote upcoming classes and fitness programs through effective communication and community engagement.
- Stay informed about current fitness trends such as Pilates, Yoga, CrossFit, cycling, and sports coaching to enhance class offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in group fitness instruction with a focus on dance-based workouts like Zumba or similar programs.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and how they relate to movement and exercise safety.
- Ability to design engaging program routines that incorporate diverse fitness disciplines such as Pilates, Yoga, or Crosstraining.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants in a gym or health club setting.
- Familiarity with sports coaching principles and personal training techniques to support individual progress.
- Effective communication skills for promoting classes and fostering a positive community atmosphere.
- Knowledge of fitness sales strategies for encouraging ongoing participation and membership growth. Pay: $100.00 – $150.00 per hour
