Alpha Anywhere represents the virtual extension of Alpha's innovative educational model. We combine AI-driven academics with twice-weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to provide what traditional classrooms cannot: customized mastery, accelerated progress, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring. This isn't conventional teaching. This is high-performance coaching for students ready to learn 2x faster—students who need someone to help them reach that potential.
You'll partner with 3rd–8th grade students around the world to produce quantifiable academic progress through mindset transformation, not direct instruction. Your mission is to maintain high standards, cultivate self-belief, and transform school into something that feels like achievement. Every session you conduct has significance. What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting two weekly 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per student, centered on academic target-setting, engagement, and mindset development
- Hosting open "office hours" where students can drop in for immediate guidance, motivation, or problem-solving
- Leveraging AI tools and performance dashboards to monitor student advancement, spot obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
- Recording observations, alerts, and tactical updates to keep each student on an accelerated growth path
- Working alongside your team to exchange best practices, raise concerns, and continuously refine the coaching framework
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Instructing lessons, evaluating assignments, or giving homework—our technology manages the academic content
- Presenting lectures or adhering to a prescribed syllabus
- Supervising or micromanaging unmotivated students—we coach, we don't hover
- Attending unnecessary meetings or navigating bureaucratic processes
- Going through the motions—this team is designed for people who want to excel and create real impact
Youth Success Coach Key Responsibilities
Produce measurable academic advancement and student engagement for virtual learners by providing high-frequency, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
- Demonstrated high performance in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
- Strong virtual presence and capability to establish rapport with students rapidly via Zoom/Google Meet
- Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
- Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Background in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational work
- Experience working with homeschool or alternative education families

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
