Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour
Status: 1099 Independent Contractor
Locations: Wylie, Allen, McKinney, Frisco, The Colony, & Melissa
The Opportunity
Jump Start Sports is hiring athletes and coaches for Summer Camps (starting now). We lead recreational sports for kids ages 4–11 focusing on fundamentals and fun.
- Multi-Sport Coaching: You will lead various sports (Football, Volleyball, Soccer, etc.).
- Curriculum Provided: We provide a structured curriculum and training for every camp to guide you through each session—no guesswork required.
- Fall is Optional: Join us for the summer; continuing into the Fall season is available for those who wish to stay.
The Schedule (Dynamic & Flexible)
Work is assigned week-to-week based on registration at each location. This is not a fixed part-time/full-time role, but a flexible schedule that moves with our programs:
- Summer Morning/Full-Day: Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Half) or 4:30 PM (Full).
- Summer Evenings: Weekdays | 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
- Fall: Optional evening and weekend hours.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years as a competitive player (HS/College) OR coaching experience.
- Skills: Ability to physically demonstrate drills and lead kids with high energy.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in Volleyball or Football is a significant plus.
- Logistics: 18+ years old, reliable transportation, and must pass a background check.
