Capital East Soccer Club is Madison’s East side community soccer club. Join our vibrant youth sports program as a Youth Soccer Coach and inspire the next generation of athletes! Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer drills, games, and activities that promote skill development and sportsmanship
- Lead practices and supervise games, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Teach fundamental soccer techniques such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and defensive strategies
- Encourage teamwork, positive behavior, and good sportsmanship among young players
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback to help children improve their skills
- Manage behavior issues effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns
Requirements
- Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to demonstrate leadership while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere
- Strong communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members effectively
